Nestled within the charming Flint Barn on South Street, Emsworth, the Flintstones Tea Room is a delightful tea house that offers much more than just a place to sip your favorite brew. This quaint spot is an inviting haven for locals and visitors alike, perfectly positioned by the picturesque Emsworth Waterfront, creating a serene backdrop that enhances every visit.
Flintstones Tea Room’s menu is an enticing celebration of hearty British classics with a fresh twist, designed to cater to both early risers and midday diners. Their breakfast offerings are generous and comforting—highlighted by the renowned Monster Bap, a substantial Westbourne bakery bap loaded with sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese for just £7.00. For those seeking something more substantial, the All Day Breakfast impresses with its full plate of two sausages, two bacon strips, a fried egg, Heinz beans, and two slices of toast, all for £9.25. Lunchtime choices shine equally, with the Chicken Salad Bowl served on a crisp bed of Flintstones salad, drizzled with Caesar dressing and topped with Parmesan and crunchy croutons, and the fresh Smoked Salmon and Prawn Salad Bowl broadening the seafood selection.
The menu extends beyond meals, offering a variety of Westbourne Bakery baps—Bacon, Sausage, or Fried Egg options that can be enhanced with a touch of onion chutney—and tempting extras like homemade jam or clotted cream to accompany freshly toasted bread or baguettes. For those craving a sweet finish, a hot drink paired with cake or a slice is an irresistible bargain at around £6.50, excluding special hot chocolate options.
The ambience of Flintstones Tea Room perfectly complements its culinary offerings. Friendly and attentive staff create a welcoming atmosphere that has earned glowing reviews—from customers raving about the “superb” service and “great value for money” to those enchanted by the ability to relax outside by the tranquil waterfront, soaking up the beautiful surroundings. Many laud the tea room for its lovely cream teas, featuring “fluffy yummy scones” generously served with cream and jam, and the cozy yet bright interior beckons with its spotless, tidy setting.
What truly makes Flintstones Tea Room stand out is its ability to combine scrumptious, thoughtfully prepared food with the serene charm of Emsworth’s harbour side. Always a great place to come for an ice-cream. It's location right by the millpond is perfect and just the right place to buy an ice-cream and then stoll around the walls. It's always busy but in a good way. Yes, you have to queue on a sunny day but it's worth it. There is some outside seating. They also do hot food and rolls.

It's a nice and cosy place. Did not eat at the cafe but surrounding is very beautiful. Sailing club is there and a nice lake where lots of white and black swan. We bought some duck food from the Cafe and my daughter loved feeding those swans.

Been here for tea, coffee and cake many times and every times it's been welcoming & scrummy. You can sit inside or out. Quick, polite & efficient service. We had 2 lattes & 2 flapjacks which was £11.90 and in our mind, good value given the quality of all. Highly recommended

Nice little cafe, outside service and seating only. Pleasant staff and quick service. Seems popular with the locals. Very close to Emsworth harbour which is in itself worth a look.
